Profhilo STRUCTURA helps to prevent and reverse the following signs of ageing:
LOSS OF VOLUME: Superficial fat pads shrink, leading to a loss of facial fullness and volume.
SAGGING SKIN: The diminished fat support causes the skin to sag and droop, especially around the cheeks and jawline.

Profhilo and Profhilo STRUCTURA can be used in separate sessions as a combination treatment, providing optimal results by utilizing the strengths of both injectables.

Treatment
Currently Profhilo Structura can only be used in the face to address subcutaneous fat loss, its purpose to address facial sinking & sagging.
On consultation, Natalie will decide which protocol to employ with you individually.
There is only 1 injection point, either side of the face, and a small catheter is used to administer the product. It is very quick and virtually painless (believe me it is not as ouchy as profhilo!!!)
A repeat dose is required 4 weeks later and a maintenance top-up every 4-6months.
Aftercare
You will be given verbal advice and written aftercare advice.
Immediately after treatment there may be tenderness, sensation of heat, itching, burning, redness, bruising, oedema or swelling at the injection site. These are temporary and generally disappear within 24-48hours.
Avoid touching the treatment area for 6 hours after the treatment. After that the area can be washed with a gentle cleanser and skincare or SPF applied. Make up can be applied the following day.
Until the initial swelling and redness have resolved, do not expose the treated area to intense heat (e.g. solarium and sunbathing) or extreme cold.
Avoid strenuous exercise and swimming to avoid a risk of infection.
Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before and after treatment.
After treatment and for next 3 to 5 days avoid exposure to UV rays and protect the treated area with SPF50 sunscreen.
Please discuss any further cosmetic procedures with your practitioner.
Do not massage or manipulate the treated area.
Stay hydrated.
